Brendan Cherry was born and raised in Maryland. When he was 14 years old, he trusted Christ his Savior at Granite Baptist Church in Glen Burnie, MD. During his freshman year of college, God called Brendan to full-time Christian service. He surrendered to that call and enrolled at West Coast Baptist College the following spring. After graduation in 2011, Brendan went on staff at Granite Baptist Church for two years where he taught in the High School and led the Children’s ministries. In 2013, he followed the Lord’s leading and moved to Covington to serve the Lord.

His wife, April grew up in Southern California. She was saved at the age of 7 at Liberty Baptist Church in Newport Beach, CA. After completing high school, she attended West Coast Baptist College. April graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education.

Brendan and April met in the summer of 2012 when April was serving on a Jewish Outreach Team based out of Brendan’s home church. They were married February 1st 2014 in Newport Beach, CA. The Cherrys came on staff at Canaan Baptist Church in March of 2015. The Cherrys have two daughters, Ella (born in 2015) and Kynlee (born in 2018).
