Billy Ingram is the pastor of Canaan Baptist Church, Covington, Georgia.  He is married to Christy (Poole). After 17 years of marriage they had 3 children (Priscilla (10), Wil (8) and Gretchen (7).  

In the early years, Billy was saved as a young boy, and as a teenager, sensing God’s call to ministry, enrolled at the Ambassador Baptist College, Lattimore, NC. After graduating in 1997, Pastor Ingram served for three years in youth ministry. Through much prayer and deliberation, the Lord led the Ingrams to Falls Baptist Church in Wisconsin. It was there they prepared for the ministry of evangelism under the leadership of Pastor Wayne Van Gelderen Jr. Pastor Ingram earned a Master’s of Biblical Studies degree from Baptist College of Ministry.  He later joined Bible Baptist Church, Stillwater, OK under Pastor Wayne Hardy while in full-time evangelism before Canaan Baptist Church called him to be their pastor in September of 2014. 

Under Pastor Ingram’s leadership, the church engages in strategic and systematic ministry to minister to the counties surrounding the church. This includes age-specific Bible fellowships, young adult ministries, children’s ministries, and an area-wide bus ministry. 

Pastor Ingram is a frequent speaker at conferences, retreats, and revival meetings throughout the United States.
